R. Dennis Richards presents the Day of Trumpets, or Yom Teruah, from a New Testament perspective to show that the shofar is a sign always representing a call to some sort of an awakening that both the Messiah and the Apostle Paul emphasized, but it is not to the traditionally celebrated new year.
